She released that song when she was 22 though....
And anyway, even if the song is juvenile, the rest of the album (bar 22) are not. She does have her silly songs, but, overall, her music doesn't give me stuck-in-middle-school vibes.

EDIT: And no Katy's fliration with adolescence doesn't seem ironic to me. it's genuinely silly. And it doesn't help that her more serious songs are usually weakly-written. A mess overall.
