I love Bye Bye and Migrate (and I Stay In Love), but none of them should have been the 2nd single. I think the album needed a 1-2 punch with TMB followed by I'll Be Lovin'.
And I don't think it's Mariah deciding to put out ballads as singles--remember on What What Happens Live she said the label picked IWTLWLI as the 2nd single off Memoirs and she disagreed with the choice. So I wouldn't be surprised if they picked Bye Bye and she was lazy with promo/the video
because she didn't think it was the right choice.
It is bad I can identify her voice, from down the street, around the corner and through the bend though without fail. 
Or under the noisiest environments ever.
