'PRISM's Multi-Year Lifespan:
“Katy has a massive global footprint, and it’s important for her to touch all fans around globe and let all the markets have their moment in the rollout. This album is going to have a long deep campaign, with multiple singles; its lifespan should take us through a couple years.”
It's going to slay but really Capital? Releasing Walking On Air? Y'all are ridiculous. I'd rather see Double Rainbow, It Takes Two, or International Smile

I'm not here for it either but I have to admit it's one of the better single options at this point
Got some infos from the record label so here it is:
- The video they shoot this week, in fact, is for This Is How We Do;
- It could a promo video or a TV ad, but it's probably for a single release;
- The label was worried about releasing Legendary Lovers and Walking On Air while she's on tour, when she's very busy, the promo is very low, that's why they choose Birthday and This Is How We Do, to keep playing her songs on the radio to help, in some way, to promote the album and her tour.
- They believe in these two tracks (LL and WoA), but they want to save it for a better moment when she has more free time to promote with a lot of performances and stuff.
- She just started the tour, so this is def not the last single.
That's more like it.
Using 2 weaker singles to keep her songs on the radio and wait till her schedule is ready for full force single runs/campaigns on the charts. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to throw in the towel before it even started (Birthday music video released very close to single release instead of the usual half way airplay, at least 1 month after the single release.).
Either WOA or LL should've been a single instead of Unconditionally. I understand that they want these two potential hits get a promotion schedule instead of risking and expecting them to smash on their own. This is how a great team should be. Beyoncé's team could never.
Anyway, I can see This Is How We Do being a top 10 hit at least.

Birthday and This Is How We Do are not weak singles, why would they release a weak single if they're not going to receive promo? They would flop.
