So basically this is an argument of Katy and Beyoncé? Why is that an argument in a thread about album sales? I don't understand. Someone explain to me this logic.
Beyonce sold 3M before PRISM because she is considered an album seller, people don't buy her singles.

In your 2nd sentence you said Bey's album outsold Katy's because she's an album seller, yet in the 3rd sentence you said Katy can sell albums. I don't understand the excuses since Katy had promo and smash singles ahead of her album release.
Don't cry. Her sales are enough to be the #1 global female of last year and she's selling more records than all the other girls while your fave isn't even Top 3.... Let me think... Katy, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lorde, Miley.... yes... after all these girls there is Lady Gaga.

Beyonce sold 3m faster than Katy because she's an album seller, but she doesn't have hits, so her album sales are already low -8k- even when it was released some months after PRISM. Katy sold 3m but she also had two hits that's why she's selling more than 20k weekly and Beyonce is selling less than 10k. PRISM will end up outselling BEYONCE even if Katy isn't an album artist.
