Shane didn't backstab her like Dan did - Dan got her on the block.
He got her on the block because she was running the game.
JennCity adored her, she was "best friends" with Danielle, Shane and Ian were her puppets, she had an HoH deal with Frank and almost got Dan out that week. However, Dan was super good and knew that she had to go for him to run the game and played on Frank and Jenn's hatred of Ian to get her out.
Shane still knew nothing about the game. For example, his eviction... He was an empty body that Britney controlled until her eviction when she was up against his "showmance."
On Dan's website, Dan made a list of the best players of the season and he ranked Britney #1.
Little did she know Queen Britney had been campaigning for Ian all the way up until the finale.
Little did she know that she couldn't taint the jury, when you get eliminated in third place, they don't let you speak to the other jurors ahead of time. Evel Dick spilled that tea on Twitter during that season.

No, sis. Marcellas had the Power of Veto and could have simply removed himself off the block. But, he didn't, who does that? Lawon is a close second though, simply because he was a complete non factor in the game and thought he was going to get special powers, poor gay African-American guys.

I don't know if I should give Shane a pass because so many people from BB14 didn't know how to use the veto. But, you would think that these people would read up on the game and watch a couple of seasons before going on the show, I just don't get the logic of now understanding simple things about the show.
