Comparisons don't have to be similar in all aspects. Most of the comparisons are made on being similar on one small aspect (e.g. only the chart run and sales figures adjusted to the market of their own decade).

Yeah, it could be a hit because it's uplifting like Firework or Roar. It's slower but still pop enough for it not to flop like Thinking Of You, and it'd be a nice transition into her more stripped back era sound.
