yes its slaying Germany which is a great achievement seeing as Germans decided to hate on pop girls this year. but im miserable that its top 2 in the US it needs to go to number 1 !!!! I need this!!!

On the bright side, the GP doesn't really keep up with chart positions, so as long as it's all over radio and selling well, it'll be good for her relevancy.

yes but idk. i know the GP dont stan for the charts but i know it helps credentials. like when they introduce you they say "Ariana the girl with 6 number 1 billboard hot 10 singles "you know what I mean it just sounds amazing

Yeah it definitely helps. A #1 will help get you nominated for the Grammys, it'll get you magazine covers and all of that, and having a #1 is amazing, but I think Ari can still slay and get all of that. I'm sure she'll get her #1 eventually.

Yeah. But I think she should also be focused on getting more critical acclaim. Like "7x Grammy nominated artist" sounds better in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I am here for her pop tracks but I am wishing for Grammy nods this era more than #1s.

I think she can get nominated..idk if it will be with this album. I think its going to be a Gold selling album maybe go to 800k tops and its very much pop oriented. plus the grammy's dont like nominating young girls albums because they feel like it will tarnish their credibility although its super silly especially since Ariana has a great voice and Yours Truly was a good debut record so im sure this second album will be just as good, if not better.
