I can't see them NOT having 2 of the most popular characters in the series in MKX.

Plus, they survived MK9. So people praying for Jade, Kabal, Jax, Kung Lao, Kitana, Sindel, Shang Tsung, Noob Saibot, Stryker, Nightwolf, Motaro, Shao Kahn & Smoke are looking a little more desperate than Johnny Cage & Sonya fans.

Aging Sonya & Johnny Cage 25 years puts them around 50 years old in Earthrealm years.

D' Vorrah or whatever didn't come off to me as MK at first until I seen her fighting. They did a good job w her, bc although she looks different from the norm, she is a savage.

I'm worried he might end up as a replacement scrappy. I mean, there's only one Shao Kahn, after all.

I think it'd be best if they try to give him a distinct, unique personality (and not just a carbon copy of Shao). But it can't be too distinct; the Kahn legacy should still be a big part of his identity.

That's what I initially thought too

And I agree with the rest of this post. I want something original because if he fails in that department I'd be SOOOO mad. We don't need characters that feel the same, that was Armageddon's problem in my opinion
