I get it, but I'm thinking about it in a marketing point of view and how non-fans would view this. Nicole has a lot to prove and I don't think a video like this would be able to launch her globally (if that's what they're actually trying to do). People love to undermine Nicole and I think she needs something strong enough where even detractors would be able to appreciate. The song is fine and the cover looks great, but the video isn't something I can imagine a lot of people wanting to watch over and over and share with their friends.
From a marketing standpoint, I concur to a certain degree...but the intention of my statement stems from my own personal views and expectations.
Nicole will release YOUR LOVE in USA! She is coming guys! Im not worthy.
I wanna collabo with RIhanna, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea. Nicole deserves for succes.
People are just overreacting on her deal with Epic. As long as they're actually gonna release her music out there, both the singles and the album, I'm fine with it.
There's gonna be some great collabs on the US edition

Thank you for the optimism. I understand why others feel the way that they do, but I'm just like why put negative energy out into the universe when you can choose to do the opposite?
Anyway, the vibe of "Your Love", along with the accompanying piano, sort of remind me of this song (there is an obvious difference in tempo though):
