Maybe situations in other cities are worse than Nairobi. I live in Egypt and Cairo can never be compared with Nairobi at all. Cairo is the largest city in Africa but not the best place to live in. They have good infrastructure, cheap transport, security is relatively good and amazing scenaries like the pyramids but Cairo is massively polluted, the traffic is a near death experience, there is a lot of sexual harassment on the streets even in broad daylight with many petty thieves in the streets. So, Nairobi might really be a better place to live in
