I don't necessarily agree, but I don't find it too far fetched. A lot of people seem to be overestimating Serena, she definitely seems to be slowing down this year due to age and chronic injuries. I wouldn't be shocked if she doesn't win another slam

Her run last year reminded me of Justine's swan song end to 2007, complete with feeling "drained" by the YEC, winning a pre-AO warm up and being the favorite for the title, only to get trounced by a barbie at the AO

I agree, I think she has one more Wimbledon 2012-esque run in her at one of the slams, where she kinda struggles a bit and isn't the absolute favorite, but pulls through on will/clutch play. I feel like her back is a bigger issue than she's been letting on, and she's just holding on because she will not allow herself to stop just short of #18.

I also think she's starting to lose passion for the game itself, as how I felt from her recent interview where he says she wants to win one more GS before retiring. But I at least want her to come close to Steffi's slam count.
