I'd argue they're worse, just because all straight white (Christian?) men feel pressured by social norms to stan for "sports" so the ones that actually DO and then do absolutely nothing productive with that 'stanning' is far more sad / awful / pathetic / "bad" than music stanning.
The fact that they try insult you for not watching the sports too is even more pathetic
These white guys at my work say n***a along with "hard" rap songs (that are really bad and not actually good rap songs) and like immediately talk about sex whenever Kesha / Katy Perry are brought up over musical quality. And it's so funny, I work in like gross fast food (summer job, don't judj me) and they all act like their 40-hours-a-week stance is super impressive and want like typical, boring suburban lives because they don't know any better? It's more sad.
I love sport fans, though. It's fun laughing at how angry they get over the game (I used to be guilty of this ), and sports fanaticism seems more "legit" than the music stanning culture.

Right? I try so hard to get along with straight guys because I'm an outgoing person and can kinda get along with anyone, y'know? At college I'll talk to guys and conversations always end up on the topic of sports or heterosexual sex talk in a really short time span and it's always like
Clearly I should be picking my battles better... but at the same time I don't know if that's the issue, you feel?

I don't see how / why it's more "legit", though.
I guess at the end of the day I do NOT think sports should be taken as seriously as music should.
Maybe that's just an opinion? But I really do think music is just worth more than sports are

My brother has put his fist through the wall on like 3-4 separate occasions.

Because like I said before, these fans bet money on these things and that is one of the reasons why it seems more "legit" than fans on the net or inside a fanbase saying "Rihanna has more #1 hits than Katy. Hihi." I think the music stanning culture - for the most part - isn't as serious as what goes on in sports. People move on from pop stars; not with sports.
And I didn't say or even imply that one was more worthier than the other. Calm it.

That KILLS me! Then they debate w/ their friends about it all day and its so tiresome.
The hetero convo is easy to avoid tho. Just boast about banging some broad
What kind of self-unaware over-privileged people stan for Katy and Taylor?
Okay, that was too much, but like W H Y the **** do they have die-hard fans? WWwwwwwwwwwwwhhhY?
They're so ****ing boring and stupid and.
Taylor has a lot to offer if you accept her into your heart Collin. Katy is filth though.
Seriously
I know fans are always quick to blame the label, but Epic Records really does screw all their artists.
The album had plenty of hit-ready songs if they had been promoted more properly
