Overall, the speech was as I expected. She struck some good points - and nailed one good zinger about Obama over the stupid legislation nonsense - but showed she's as Republican as can be. She sounds competent with her random comment about Russia wanting to control a pipeline in the Caucases (and meaning we both agree with Russia's actual strategy) besides, but at the same time her speech was a hodgepodge of a really boring introduction, silly bashing of Obama and overpraising McCain. Not really well versed and slightly hard to follow. I applaud the attempt and still want her and John to loose, but she sang to the choir as only a "maverick reformer who really is not" can.

And I still hate the RNC stage. Jeez, buy a damn flagpole at least.

Why the ****ing **** did Arizona NOT move to pass by acclamation when it was their turn. I mean really, why must I see every state since Nevada (and before, but I was changing channels) pass so Arizona can get him over 1191. This? is retarded.

Simple: They couldn't, and they won't.

To be a Hillary supporter and then turn to Palin, you need to have a complete lack of understanding of any issues. You don't know and don't really care about Iraq, the economy, health care, reproductive rights, or education. When someone tries to inform you, you turn them away. The only reason why you voted for Hillary was because she's a woman, or maybe even because she's not black.

How many people like this are there out there? Probably not many, and I'd argue they were all a lock for McCain anyway--the Palin choice makes no difference.

Ah ok. I asked because I saw a group of irate women being hauled out of the arena during Palin's speech. I couldn't see what it was about though.

Anyway, Palin would win this election on character but lose on policies. And it comes as no surprise that she spends more time talking about hunting, fishing and her other extracurricular activities more than the issues.

I really think Sarah Palin should get Vice President ? I know it would mean that John McCain would have to be President, but I just think the Vice President should have it's own election also. I know you have to be past of the same group to be elected President and Vice, but I just think it's something that should happen. I think Sarah Palin, is just an ordinary housewife who has no experience with politics but she has very strong views just like every other person in the World. I think America is the only country that could pull off the leader of their country being an ordinary person, I just think it's a great idea for her to be president, and if I was an American, and I was of age, I would be backing her all the way.
