Update on my MK2 experience: I beat Shao Kahn with my last Kredit! Although the difficulty was set on very easy. Shang Tsung was my biggest challenge, then Kintaro...Shao Kahn was the 3rd hardest fight. skajdfbhsadfjk I really need to l2play.

Does it really, though? The Mortal Kombat series has always been ridiculous and goofy. It's part of its charm.
Sure, it has its dark moments, but MK isn't typically a game that takes itself seriously. Why do you think Friendships and Babalities were introduced? Why do you think they had some guy come in and yell, "TOASTY!" in a goofy falsetto when you do an uppercut?

Lucky! I let my cousin borrow my Nintendo 64 version of trilogy and i never got it back.
Trilogy is still one of my favorites, if not probably my fav.
Well, since you technically own Trilogy , you can legally have a ROM version of it. Game pad's are also really cheap at like Wal-mart or something. Trilogy isn't even that demanding on CPU resources. I can run it fine on my computer. It's well worth it if you like the game enough.
