I wouldn't say Tennis Court's flopping, I just think people had already heard it and seen the video before it got sent to radio, so it didn't feel or seem new. When people first saw the video for Royals on youtube, they would have seen Tennis Court in the related videos and checked it out.
Beyonce seems to be having the same problem. Partition should have performed way better. And Pretty Hurts would be skyrocketting to #1 if the video for it was brand new and just coming out. But because BEYONCE came out 6 months ago, there's nothing new to offer, or reinvigorate interest in the song, like a video that's about to come out. Everyone's thinking it's 6 months old.

Everyone acting like Lorde will be a one-hit wonder. She already had two top ten hits, do y'all seriously think that she'll have like 6 top ten hits like Katy? She's just starting out, she has a good and stable format to call her own (alternative) and her album sales are good. She's gonna snatch in the next era.
