I can't imagine it in my head. Onika would be better off singing her own damn chorus like she's been doing. It would definitely sound more pleasant. definitely wouldnt go so far as to say a joke, but you dont think she might look a bit thick seeing as how much she hyped this album up as being rap, and appealing to her rap roots, and how she wants to make a hip hop classic? she definitely gave the impression that this album would be a major shift for her. meantime she's having all these pop radio friendly songs like on her other albums (maybe less dance pop this time though, she seems to be going more serious this era). it seems contradictory, and it makes her seem less authentic, at least to me.

This album will be more personal in terms of lyrical content. It will be Hip-Hop and will appeal to her Rap roots, and it will also have something for her millions of fans who love her Pop music WW.

The only "Pop" radio song on this album so far is PNP. Who's to say the collab (if it happens) won't be like Dark Horse, which went Top 10 on Urban radio?

im not saying the album will be bad, or that it wont have good lyrics or anything. all im saying is that there seems to be some discrepancy between what she said pre era and what seems to be happening now. you cant deny that many, many people (even a fair amount her stans) where suprised when they heard that dr. luke was producing the lead single. the collab (if it even happens) could be an urban radio hit, but it wouldnt matter. she's still collaborating with a major popstar who isnt even really affiliated with the rap world (unlike someone such as rihanna or beyonce) and people will see it as her just doing whatever it takes to climb the charts. it would still make her look like she went back on what she said. maybe unfairly, but thats how it would/will be percieved.

i might have the timeline on this wrong then because i dont remember her mentioning anything about wanting to appeal to her pop fans until after PNP dropped, when she gave that interview saying that she still wanted to do pop but that she was moving away ffrom dance pop and wanting to appeal to all her fans and etc. I thought that was why so many people were shocked about who was producing the single when we first found out?
