yeah it's common.

Someone posted a little rundown of it, and they said she talks to everyone as a group for like 20 mins etc, and then they do a quick little M&G photo, signing etc.

Depending on which city you're in, some people line up the night(s) before, some go the day/afternoon of. Kinda depends on if you have VIP or regular GA and where you wanna stand as well. I see a lot of people wanting to run for the front of the main stage, and also be around the ARTPOP Zone.
