i really don't understand why people are just picking random unreleased songs they like and adding them on to utlraviolence...? i'm doing two discs:

disc 1: the standard 11 tracks
disc 2: BB, GAR, FK, ITH, Flipside, and i'm adding AFFA to close off the album because it is: (a) actually an outtake of ultraviolence; (b) sonically cohesive with the rest of the album (more guitar, more soulsy and laid back); and (c) a perfect closer.

so 17 tracks total for me (unless there are more bonus tracks )

Because there are 2 discs? There's a reason the standard edition is only 11 tracks and that the bonus tracks are bonus tracks. Obviously the 11 tracks on the regular album are meant to he the 11 that tell the "story" of the album, if you will.

You can't just tack on the extra bonus tracks after TOW, which is supposed to be the last track.

I NEVER do that. I started buying music in the 90's when artists still released B-sides and when albums mostly had 12 tracks with no specials since there was no iTunes.

For me, Born To Die ended with TIWMUG. Period. I have the Deluxe Version and the Paradise Edition, but when I listen to the album I listen to track 1-12 and Paradise from track 1-8. I also never add some unreleased material on the album.

The only "change" I've made to a lana album (any album, actually) is Paradise. Yayo belongs on AKA, and that version is superior, so rather than having that twice, I took it off my Paradise and put on Y&B instead (since it was written for P anyway). That, and now AF on U since it's a great closer to my "deluxe version".

But I agree with you in that, to me, BTD is tracks 1-12 (and U will be tracks 1-11). That's the album. The other tracks are just extra, which is exactly why they didn't make the actual album

I have Young and Beautiful and the original Yayo on the Paradise EP.

AFFA, BB, JFK, Starry Eyed, Serial Killer, Go Go Dancer and Hollywood are on a special unreleased album. I also have the live Hackney version of Body Electric on there too and the National Anthem + Ride monologues.

I also have that Avicii song "Dear Boy" on there too because it sounds like her. It's the closest we will get to having her song an EDM bop
