I agree. It seems like will.i.am had quite a bit of control over the single, so much so that the Official Charts website has the song listed as "will.i.am & Nicki Minaj" instead of "Nicki Minaj & will.i.am" or "Nicki Minaj f/ will.i.am".

It was released under Interscope & Will.i.am music group, as the single.

if nicki took this song to a RnB production (ala the worst by jhene) with stronger rap verses it would be better and bigger.

she seems to like lukes basic production and that freestyle on the bridge is a mess and the song is just underwhelming all together so its not gonna be that big of a song.


this is why nicki should stay away from pop all together. its just no good.

the majority want her back on her rap ****.

Yup, it is on the NickiMinajTelevison channel.

I assume she was presented with a number of lyric videos and she chose this one to promote this side Youtube account and the other to be officially uploaded to her VEVO account.

Not trying to sound tiresome, but the critics + majority of fans disagree with you. This song is a happy medium.

I don't know wtf people expect from onika like the way how Aathew replied to that long statement by it's been a week like OMG ( Aathew was so right like chill) they sat on here and talked about her like she was a flop but when her single cane out they expected 1#s all over I'm like make up your mind ! People on here are just IRRA patience y'all hope y'all, like the gluttony of over the top success is real, music is more then charts could yu at least acknowledge the substance and critical acclaim!

I've been trying to chill out and not do paragraphs as much as I normally do. I've seen so many "Nicki should have [...]" and "Nicki would have had so much more success with this type of single or with that type of release." I'm really sick of it.

A hot hip-hop single won't sell this album and it won't give her longevity. Nicki knows that and that's why she has a plan. We just gotta chill and enjoy the ride.
