Things like Pitchfork is. Magazines like Billboard and Rolling stone are really the ones that have any effect on the public and that is when it comes to album reviews tbh. Reviews are essentially for people who care more about music than the average perosn, wheteher they are on a forum or not

Music fans extend far beyond forums, lol. They're designed for the music community and world, obviously, not "forum people".

She had this relationship with P4k and they felt betrayed in a way so they trashed her album.

Critical acclaim does matter, but this obsession with P4K is funny. People here only like stuff that is acclaimed by P4K, if it's not topping the charts, of course. But at least they praised Kaleidoscope Dream.

The obsession is a bit much. But these critics do generally have an idea about what they're talking about in the scope of music and its history. I don't know why everyone tries to

I think Lana will suffer a considerate blow commercial success wise.
Europe will miss those strings and USA isn't her strongest market even when all the songs we've heard so far sound very alternative rock based which is most popular in the US.
I honestly preidct 2,5m - 3m at most for Ultraviolence but it's ok because the songs so far are godly
