This doesn't make any sense. Gaga has written brilliant pop songs and so deserves to be praised for them. Jason Derulo has written trash and so he doesn't deserve praise.

I guess ATRL's mindset is to value the product and not the creator. Like I said before, if an artist's strength is not in their voice, then they need to downplay the role of vocals in their work. If you can create good music but not sing it well, then you should avoid live performances and not credit yourself as a vocalist.

The other pop girls Gaga, Bey, Brit, Pink have been performing since they were children.

Rihanna has tons of good performances anyway, she just needs to spend more time and effort to put on a great show.
