I thought thy were just beginning to phase out short period bans (1-7 days) because they mostly only being used to "beat the system" and avoid a longer vacation? I don't think self-request bans are leaving entirely. If you aren't remotely close to a ban and ask super nicely, they may still do it though.

I believe you're right. If I recall correctly (it was either Katie or Retro that said it), the short-term ban requests were no longer being acknowledged. Mattpowell wants to be banned for three days tho, so he's just gonna have to go cold turkey.
