Lead singles always get that extra push from being first though, they get all the hype, promo, album exposure etc.
What I meant to say was, after Applause (which deserved to smash its great) I don't think anything would have been a hit whether the song was good or not. Sadly the backlash etc just ruined the era.
Fair enough, but I definitely didn't expect guy to bomb so hard.
I know I would obviously get addicted to some songs, and have to download to listen 24/7 though.
I'd rather experience the whole process from the day it drops, and not listening to it on some radio station, illegally downloading, getting new copies, deleting the illegal ones, etc.
Do u buy physical copies? thats the most exciting thing now imo.
