Oh, I didn't realize that this was during the
19 era. Still, the fact that she's that insistent that Adele's music isn't soul is a bit irritating. Yeah, it wasn't Aretha Franklin / Etta James soul music, but it was still soulful to a certain extent. She acts like it's a crime to refer to her music as soul.
