There's like two small banners and then there were for a while a couple little ones to the side that would open up if you hovered for a full three seconds, both of which could be closed anyway. The only one I ever have a problem with is the one on bottom that used to be there and open and that's only when dealing with reports. It could be much worse. See all that blank space? Imagine what Athens or Joe could do there.
If you're referring to the mobile ones, that's the provider's fault but I hear there's a way to disable them for your device anyway.
I can't deal with GIF avatars usually. The vast majority of my 500+ have been stills.
Stills are just easier to find a definite feel that can really represent a person, while GIFs are too dynamic and fluid to satisfy my desire for that concrete basis upon which to base my profile characteristics and which is rooted in my own mood and personality.

Idk, they're just basic most of the time. The main ones that are actually good are the ones that can be used in others posts, like yours. Others are fine as long as they're HQ but I can never stan for them or anything.
