@Doc I agree w/ that article 100%. They've made it more into a sub-category Hot 100 for each genre, instead of measuring the genre's listeners they're just using Mainstream which ofcourse is not accurate.

Exactly. After reading that, I went through the Hot 100 top 20 and cut out all the pure pop, pure country, and pure rock songs and was left with the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
As a black person who listens to rock music no I'm not....I'm talking about undeniable demographic majorities but you know what...I give UP with yall
