Why do people think IAD is not a good song?!? I know it may not be the best compared to the other songs on RED, but it's still a good song.

I dislike it's intro and some of the lyrics. Still a good song compared to other pop girls' but quite average in her discography

The opening strings and that overblown, melodramatic feel they give the listener, the utterly basic lyrics (bar the bridge) and the way her voice sounds thin and weak, especially in the chorus, like she has a cold (she probably did have a cold while recording the song, but, as I have noticed through listening to Taylor's 4 albums many times, nothing stops her from recording a song when she feels like it. She records even when her voice is exhausted while she's on tour or when she's sick, which I wish she'd stop doing, but ok). Compare her voice on IAD, HG and TLO to her voice on ATW, SBT, Treacherous and Red, and you can tell the her voice sounds nasal and thinner on the previous 3, the way one would sound if they had a cold.

I see the impact of Taylor's shorts in Carrie and Miranda's performance

^^^Her stages are always flat with a staircase (or 2 staircases like the SN tour) and a catwalk. Basic. I do like them actually, but she needs a new design for the next tour. Katy's stage is cool, but I feel like it's a bit too narrow, you know. Gaga's catwalks flying above the crowd was a cool idea too.

SNWT's stage is the best tho. The fairytale theme, the bridge, the flying balcony, the tree, the imagery, the set up.

I bet to disagree about the production and lyrics of IAD but you spilled the true tea about the rest. Her voice in HG is truly the pits
