so i have a theory, seeing as her annual grammy performances have basically become taylor's planet hollywood residency, when she is undoubtably announced as a performer at next year's show, i think she will get the closing performance.
thinking of all of the traditional grammy coveted performance spots;
she's already been the young and aspiring up-and-comer performing with a living legend (stevie nicks)
she's already been the living legend who has performed with a young and aspiring, up-and-comer (miley cyrus)
she's already opened the show
she's already had a standard solo performance with elaborate set (mean)
and she's already done the dramatic solo piano ballad.
and she won't be eligible for album of the year at next year's show so she won't have any costume conflicts to perform straight after (like she would have if she closed the show this year while being nominated for aoty for red)
