I've never seen/heard her sets but I didn't know she was that bad
That was like part one of a 40 minute set I STG, just skip through it and wonder wtf gaga is thinking letting this boring ass bitch come on tour with her
I feel Gaga should have her contemporary, sassy bitch version of N*SYNC's Dirty Pop.
The message being that 'pop music will never be low brow', and people should get off popstars dicks because it's not "Real Music". That's the kind of thing ARTPOP should be saying, and it'd be a nice FU after these past few years.
Same, that would have been the perfect album cover, so simplistic and beautiful They wouldn't have even needed to put her name on it....that picture on its own just looks so iconic.
Shame our fave got hit on the head by a falling telephone right after the TFM album cover shoot, causing concussion which erased the word 'simplistic' from her memory
The beauty is that it wouldn't need her name on it. It's so powerful in branding, so recognisably and quintessentially Gaga from first glance.
OK guys, there is a website online called RateTheMusic. Basically, radio programmers always look through a wide array of sources to determine what songs are potential hits that will draw in more listeners. RateTheMusic is one of those sources, and it has been proven to work (when “Applause” topped the Top 40 survey, it helped it rebound and peak in the top 5; topping the Rhythmic survey also helped “Applause” go top 20 on that format.).
This week, “G.U.Y.” was added to the top 40 survey. Here are the steps on how you can help the song:
1. Sign up for an account on RateTheMusic.com (remember that this helps for radio stations in the US, so if you live outside the US, use an address from the US and an accurate ZIP code, to make your votes more believable)
2. Take the Top 40 weekly survey. For your votes to count, you must go through every single song and finish the survey. For every song, there are 3 survey sections. The first asks if the song is familiar (do you know it, basically). The second asks your opinion on the song. The third asks whether you are tired of hearing the song. When you get to “G.U.Y.”, enter that the song IS familiar, that you “like the song a lot”, and that you are NOT tired of hearing the song.
4. Spread the news. You can only complete the survey once a week, so it’s better to have multiple people completing it. Reblog the post on tumblr, tweet about the survey, tell your fellow fans on other social media platforms about the survey, etc.. It’ll all help to make “G.U.Y.” a hit.

Watched the entire "G.U.Y." video while planking last night and it struck me just how STUNNING the video is. How the F has it not been huge news? It's pretty depressing that, because of Gaga consistently releasing the highest of quality videos, that it becomes her standard and few take notice.

Initially I thought ARTPOP was gonna be about artificial branding. In which she went against "the machine" and how they try to take they art out of pop. But I do like that idea more. It has the potential to really hit home for many pop music lovers.
Actually, I'd be here for it to be promoted, it wouldn't do well as single, duh, but people would see a different Gaga and well yeah it could be nice to get some new supporters.
