basically yes we are not getting a single. MESS. They better have their radio promo team on standby for the iTunes drop. then again I dont see us getting more than 1.5 singles after its release (1 radio single and a second flop single with a video promoted by Mariah & directed by Nick)

I think she was exaggerating/being eternally 12/elusive. but yes she definitely has 2 albums worth of material recorded. which she will pay dust like all her older unreleaseds.

Lmao yes this is basically guaranteed to happen. I need slayage though. I was so tuned in for Mariah during the infamous Emancipation era - I even made my mum pay for me to join the official fan club! (hint: NOT worth it) But yeah the minute the follow-up album came out I ran.

This album definitely seems to be more personal & slightly darker than anything she's put out recently (I mean, the first song is called Cry & the last is The Art of Letting Go...), so I'm very excited to hear what she's going to serve us. The longer song lengths are serving me Butterfly realness, too.

I have a good feeling about this album. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be Charmbracelet 2.0
