I know this is not a normal single run for Katy, but please note that "Dark Horse" is still sitting comfortably at #4 (audience) and #6 (spins) on Medibase's Top 40 chart.

Give "Birthday" time, have faith in her label's A&R, and save the meltdowns for much later in her career. This single will not be "eclipsed." It's going to get a fair run.
If you want to see it "rise, rise," then instead of complaining, be like old school fans, and request it on the radio. Z100 and KIIS, the biggest and most influential stations in the country (that reach an even larger audience via Sirius XM) have yet to give the song a single spin.
So true! I've only heard it on AMP. KIIS is always late to the party plus they still have DH playing like very hour it seems.

WoA's going to be her first 7x platinum hit. My friends love it, the GP love it, the cats love it. It's the obvious next single.
WoA sounds like nothing out there atm because it's a (good) throwback. With "Birthday" underperforming, she needs to abandon this sinking ship & go head first into the warm weather anthem WoA!
