It doesn't work like that.

Each round I will select a country and all the contestants must send in a song from an artist that came from that country.

Example:

If the first round deals with the country of New Zealand, all the contestants must send in a song by an artist from New Zealand.

Does that make sense now?

Thank you to everyone who has signed up for the inaugural season of ATRL World Music Battle. Here are the ground rules for each round:

- You must send in a song by an artist that is born from the chosen country, region or US state that is the theme for the round. For example, if the round is centered around New Zealand, you must send in a song by an artist that was born in New Zealand.
- In some rounds, I will limit what you can send in. Some rounds will only be singles, while others may only be album tracks.
- Artists will be banned after being used three times. Some rounds will be more open than others, especially if its a regional like "West Coast of the United States" for example.

ROUND 1: UNITED STATES

This should be the easiest round for everyone and the perfect country to help you guys get familiar with how the game works. You must send in a song by a US born artist. If you send in a song by a group, ALL the members have to be US citizens. Please provide me a YOUTUBE link. When I receive all the songs, I will post the Youtube links on the page and you guys will PM me your rankings. Lowest scoring members will be eliminated.

No limit this round. It's just the first round and I want everyone to be able to get used to how this game works. You can send a single or an album track. Whatever you want as long as it is an artist that is a US born citizen.
