How does she work the stage? Where is the best place to stand?
I was thinking near the main stage, kind of close to one of the legs...
If you want to see her up close and personal, with her speeches, stand close to the stage, but a little to the bridge connecting her to the piano. If you want to see her dance and stuff, stand close to the bridge, but a little to the bridge connecting her to other small stage. Don't be so deep into the main stage because you'll stiff up your neck and not have close enough look at the whole scheme of things. Good luck!
I feel so sorry for the monsters I already saw some of the outfits, the stage and the lights of the concert and it was all so underwhelming. She needs to improve her live vocals too; at least in that new song Partynauseous.
I'm sure she will improve the show; this was the first one afterall.
Chh at these people judging the whole show based on some performances and snippets. I went last night and I'll admit that it may not have been as big, crazy and extravagant as TMB and BTWB, but it suits the era + it's called artRAVE, and it's intended to be a big party - which it was. The choreography and vocals were on point, the entertainment was at a high point, the stage was nice and she was always walking around and utilized everything she was given. I'd say more but I'm leaving class but yeah, don't have your doubts. It was an amazing time.
I didn't watch any of those weak Instagram or Vine videos so the whole chair dance thing was really but she pulls it off petty well. It really reminds me of Janet Jackson's 'Miss You Much' choreography.
Also during the beginning of Alejandro, people REALLY need to NOT throw things on the stage....I already fear for how much she runs and falls on a normal basis. Falling into the crowd would be a mess.
i cant at monsters sayoing that she needs to ditch her hits on the tour.NEWS FLASH- SHE WOULDNT BE HERE IF IT WERENT FOR HER HITS.especially considering the lack of success/interest in her recent music...just saying

I don't get this. It all looks so much bigger than those tours, maybe even combined. The only big thing TMB had was the living dress and its platform and the big monster puppet. The BTW Ball had a lot of over the top things, but the lighting fell short. artRAVE seems to take elements from both of those tours and multiplies them. I honestly think the stage alone is better than both of those shows.

Dance In The Dark and Heavy Metal Lover should be in the tracklist
Yas, sis, come up with another thing to complain about after being clocked.

This is the ARTPOP Ball, not the Old Hits Ball... just saying

Well she is performing her 3 number 1 hits and telephone and alejandro. Why is everyone so pressed that she's just not doing Edge of Glory.

This was definitely better than her other tours. It didn't have a million things going on at once, and you could actually focus on her instead of being distracted by her back up dancers and others involved.
The only thing I can say needs to be changed, is the stage. I feel like it should be brought up more to the middle, and have the extensions on two sides. It would make everything come together more. That's the only disconnection I found. It was so minuscule though. And like you said, it was a rave. We were non stop dancing throughout the show (except when she performed BTW and the beginning of Gypsy).
I really love the creativity of the stage, the lights are out of this world. Who designed it, her Haus? Also, the concert seems like a dance party.
But I don't like the intro, she could've landed like in the GUY video with those wings or something. It's just nothing special. I also don't understand her skipping a lot of lyrics and relying on the backing track.

It's one show. You can't say she needs to improve her live vocals based on one show.

Eh, not everyone relies on “flying“ to get the crowd going. I think she did marvelous considering it's her first show, and “skipping“ a lot of lyrics is usually not necessary cause she has her piano moments to replenish her energy but this time around it was a full-on, all-out rave. The only breather song she had was Partynaseous.
