Look where the album is on iTunes too at #198!!!! Not looking good for this era. Phillip said they wrote the song one week before it was released, that makes you question Raging Fire is the most commercial song from the album.

I also don't like that there are only 4 songs that Phillip wrote entirely for this album! What kinda bullsh**? He keeps repeating the album is "more ME." Oh please how is it you when most of the songs have four songwriters (and three of those songwriters are just there to make money off of Phillip so they keep writing Gone3x clones).

Co writers are fine. Just matters how involved he is in his writing. Adele has a co-writer for each song on 21 but she is still doing most of the writing

Lol Adele had only one co writer. Adele also associates herself with quality songwriters. Phillip on the other hand just got the cheap songwriters Interscope was willing to pay. Greg Watternberg is a decent producer of pop music, but for Phillip's style nah. The other two songwriters don't have a proven track record.

The Deluxe Edition is what people buy (in Phillips case too) so i don't see the problem here

The singles will come off the standard edition. It is just like the first album, they want to push the more commercial songs that are co written to the standard.

Edit: I rather see a single that is purely Phillip written that's why. Tell me a Story was almost all Phillip (it only had one other writer, not three). I still can't believe they didn't make that song a single.

Well he only had three songs with two co writers so thats not really bad either.I think its fine, I enjoyed his debut album a lot so I don't have a problem with it

I see what you are saying it is just my perspective because he is being marketed as a songwriter (Triple A). I don't have a problem with many songwriters (like alternative bands where mostly all the members write the songs). The thing with Phillip, there is an ulterior motive for the SAME three song writers for most of his songs.

I don't think the # of co-writers tells the story about what % of a song someone sings.

Someone could write 30% of a song with one co-writer, and write 70% of a song with 3 co-writers.

Yeah you are probably right. I am just fuming right now that Raging Fire is flopping so I am just wanting to blame the songwriters that wrote RF and Gone3x.
