On to Legendary Lovers.

like that awful song is gonna do any better than birthday? it's not gonna smash as hard as you all are making out to be.

Not it slowing down on the radio already
Even her radio power is decreasing.
Her team is probably nervous about the next single. Hopefully it's LL.

The reason it hasn't 'taken' off is because it takes the hard core fans to give it top 10 exposure and they already have the song. She needs 1 performance and it'll take off.

Pretty sure Capitol won't lose sleep if this underperformed. It's only the forum queens who are taking this to heart and are happy to see her have a "flop."
And if people really expected Katy and Capitol to replicate TD in terms of singles success, then I don't know what to say.

No worries. Everybody has flops on their careers, even Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Rihanna - the hitmakers of our generation. It's impossible to smash with every single.
And like Umich said, I'm pretty sure Capitol won't lose their sleep because of it. Dark Horse and Roar sold more than 10 million copies in the US. Unconditionally adds another 1 million to the tally. That's more than 11 million copies guys, in just ONE era! We can't expect a Teenage Dream kind of smash always, and if you ask me, it's kinda good. Katycats were so spoiled... like, "ooh it's no Top 10, it's flopping so bad!". These things are good to keep our feet on the ground. And hopefully Katy's too.
PRISM will most likely be 2x Platinum, with the US Tour coming and next single. This is amazing too.
No worries cats.
Ignore the trolls, they don't know what's a good music video or what is a smash hit since more than 3 years ago...

let's be honest - Birthday's music video is basically the reason this is flopping. Yes, its funny and innovative but it just doesnt serve its purpose - to be a ****ing music video! You know, people should sing along and in this case everybody is distracted by the content of the video.

Good question. Everything I post, no matter what it is, gets reported. 4 more posts and I'll be banned. I guess somebody hates me.
ATRL is really annoying lately because of this. And yes, report me for this too.

I was talking about US - Dark Horse 4,8kk. Roar 5,2kk. Unconditionally 1kk. 11 million singles sold. Also there's 190k from Walking On Air. Yes, I kinda agree. But it's a good music video. If the song was a smash the video would be doing much better.

1. He was talking about US sales. Roar is 5.3M DH is 4.8.
2. That may be true.
3. I begrudgingly agree with you there.
