Yes, like I say.. less is more Mariah has 18 #1s, but how many of them are actually iconic?
And I meant back*, instead of bad*
I like how candid you are

I don't think they've met. And I really hope Christina and Grimmie duet on the finale. I mean it would only make sense and wouldn't be too far fetched to get Christina to come on since she is directly involved with The Voice and is in LA.
I live for this performance, it's one of my all time favourites.
Whether people like it or not, this woman is gonna be a legend, I mean just look at her

Her voice is so versatile Mariah has an amazing voice, but her voice only shines on gospel and ballads. Christina shines even on rock!
Sometimes I wish 2008 - 2012 hadn't happened. We got 'Bionic' which is a flawless album and 'Burlesque' which solidified her status in many markets and with different audiences, but she was riding so high after 'B2B'. Had she delivered another hit album in 2009/ 10, she would already be the main icon/ future legend of her generation
There's still PLENTY of time though 2015 is shaping up to be legendary with Evita, The Voice, the new album etc

I couldn't agree more! She knows how to utilize different aspects of her voice, and this performance in particular is the perfect example of it. In fact, there's a comment below the video"a rocker in a pop bottle."

The music is shifting again to correspond her style, and I think we will see Christina 3.0 this time around

I just hope she doesn't make the mistake of changing her singature sound. Timing has always been an issue for X. She needs to come correct this time. I want a soulful album with a few ballads and epic vocals tbh

I agree to an extent, but the respect Christina has earned in the industry even after having flop albums is beyond that of the majority of her peers. She doesn't need hype or pretense, she garners respect based on pure talent alone.
2015 is gonna be amazing, I'm excited to find out what direction she's taking with this album. It seems like she's explored almost every genre!

Yeah, it kind of seems like she has more respect now. Usually the pop girls who flop get humiliated in the media for years or become completely forgotten. And that's not the case at all with Christina.
If anything, she is more visible than ever. Who else can become more visible, more respected, and have three hits while supposedly being in a "flop" period?

Exactly. I think the GP as a whole have more respect for great singers and vocalists than ever before, simply because there aren't many of them left. People like Xtina and Mariah will always be placed on a pedestal when compared to other girls because they've got the pipes.
I laugh when people try to dismiss current Christina, she's building up her overall record sales while lounging around and enjoying her pregnancy.
Love wil FIINDD AAAA WHEE UHH EEE UHH EEYYYY
Why wasn't this a single.
yess, I'm not sure why they didn't shelve more out. I guess to focus on the Spanish edition.
Xtina will get the last laugh. Even now, despite some media and forum comments, people treat her with a lot of respect and praise when they talk about her. On award shows and whatnot so that shows something despite not having been the it girl in a decade.
