Mess@deleting all of Discipline. It may have been her most pathetic album, and even her self-titled debut and Dream Street are superior (if you're not a snob), but at least it had Feedback, Rock With U, Can't B Good, So Much Betta, What's Ur Name (at least the last 10 seconds anyway), and Curtains. The real problem with that album, aside from Janet's inattentive participation, was the dated Luv and 2Nite, the embarrassing lyrics on Never Letchu Go, the "bitch please, you did this song two albums ago" Greatest X, and the horrible interludes.
On another note. All For You is 13 years old today. Let me apply my wrinkle cream and get my membership to AARP.
What TV performances from discipline and DJ were bad? (aside from the LUV performances and all nite at the BET Awards bc those were just )
Well, I don't think any from DJ was bad. It's just that the people who would buy Janet albums would rather see that performance I posted instead of her performing All Nite (which would be great on a concert, but on TV? Meh)
As for Discipline, there was the RWU one when they televised the wrong - and inaudible - audio track, those uninteresting Luv performances that were cute but would do nothing for the album... I mean, most of them were weaker performances than LWA - including Feedback live at TRL.
Bottom line is: I love when Janet SELDOM sings live, and when people say things like 'it's her worst performance'.... I hope she never reads that.
I was feeling some type of way. i dont use discipline at all tbh
the only tracks i had where Feedback (Which im keeping), RWU, So much betta, rollercoaster, and fan favorite, the 1
Curtains and discipline were cute tho
Whats ur name, 2nite () and greatest x sound a mess. Janet serving michael teas on Cant b good tho
I'm not understanding the hate for 2 Nite. It's catchy and sounded like what was hot at the time, just needed better production. Even a few movies used it. Would've been the best choice for the second single over RWU.
Same for Discipline.. it drags towards the end and isn't her best but its still MUCH better than the abomination that is 20 Y.O.

People who buy Janet albums want to see her dance and slay the stage. The All Nite performance on Ryan Seacrest was excellent, same for the one on SNL. She looked hot as hell for both also.

I agree about TRL though. Definitely not bad but there wasn't much choreo and that poodle wig Especially when she looked like this when she went on there again and didn't even perform
All the Feedback performances should've looked like this:

This. It was excellent for where it was, the tube thing was also kinda interesting. Probably one of the only good routines from Miss Gil.

That is a fallacy and everyone knows it. 20 Y.O. doesn't go half as low as Discipline and has a good number of quality tracks.

Wrong. That's Janet fans.
People who would buy albums - or people who used to buy Janet albums - don't care enough about her frenetic dancing anymore. And didn't care about it during Damita Jo.TBH that kind of dancing hasn't worked for anyone for a long time. Which is why I think Janet should invest in singing/theatrics instead of Gil-style choreo.
I spent hours recording this a cappella cover of "Come Back to Me" in my living room yesterday. Excuse the low sound quality. My living room + ****** iPhone recorder.
