@ a Katy Perry song somehow making the tolerable list
DIL overshadowed it.
I love XO but it's not as catchy or quotable as DIL is. Also, I think season has alot to with what radio leans twd. to. XO and Pretty Hurts were released in opposite seasons. Sappy ballad time is in winter when Pink and Bruno songs tend to dominate airwaves and sh*t. XO a breezy pop track got put out then instead. Beyst doesnt have a clue
And she's running out of options. What is left at this point? Mine?
Pop Radio refusing to give in and let Urban music have a full 2004 sized takeover.
It's clear the chart is deader than ever; and nobody is here for "Pompeii", "Hey Brother", "Team", "Best Day of My Life" and this other non-mainstream stuff they are trying to get to catch fire so badly.
Just let "Loyal", "Move That Doh", and "Na Na" have a "Happy", "All of Me", and "Talk Dirty" sized Pop takeover and call it a day.
