But I'd argue Taylor (whose last 2 albums sold more than 1million in their debut week), timberlake (whom I can't stand but sold 900k opening week) and Adele (whom I like less than beyonce but went diamond in the 2010s) are more worthy successors if we are speaking sales alone.
Not that I think sales make the artist (I'm an Xtina stan after all) but it seems like the hive is very quick to pull out numbers post her last album release
