Beyonce is a charlatan, pure and simple. She's a hypocrite who talks out of her arsehole about feminism and tries to appropriate it to burnish her image and add some gravitas to her persona. She jumps on every bandwagon - the vegan restaurant in a fur coat incident, anyone? - and doesn't really have anything intellectual or insightful to say.
Furthermore, her claim to fame is about stripping off and using her sexuality to the hilt, often collaborating with her husband who has been a bloody awful misogynist in the past, and performing half-naked with him on stage.
If this woman is supposed to be the most influential, then heaven help us all. Young girls need solid role models - self-aggrandising, narcissistic and pretentious Beyonce can't cut the mustard, I'm afraid. She's just as 'influential' as her best friend Gwyneth Paltrow - expect because Beyonce's 'a woman of colour', whatever she does gets romanticised and lionised and she somehow escapes bearing the brunt of being ridiculed for being an airhead.
