Pretty much. I pretend to hate Gaga (cuz it's what's "in" right now ), but I do appreciate the risks she took with ARTPOP. I use a little under half of the album.
The Monsters just need to be like the Lanasters and stick by their fave. Born To Die was critically panned and yet Lana rose above.

True - it would benefit her to have a more consistent fanbase. But it's not like all of us just left the moment we saw Applause get blocked on iTunes, you know? She actually had a decently strong fanbase (and I'll personally still buy her next record, probably), but she's pushed a lot of them away for a variety of reasons.

Too much is riding on her not to at least have one more successful album (as in Interscope is spending money on her that could be spent on Azealia and Angel Haze..am bitter ).
