Yeah, OPM domination in MYX is not good. It's just a tool for promotion.
I just noticed that when we started putting out our rants on OPM domination on Thursday's countdown, all the foreign entries came in the next edition (including Leave Out All The Rest ). Someone in MYX is deffly lurking this thread.
Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” regains her lead and starts a third week atop of the Philippines Hot 100. “Take a Bow” moves 3-1 replacing last week’s number-one, Jordin Spark’s “One Step at a Time.” The single from Sparks drops 1-4.
David Cook’s “Always Be My Baby” jumps back as well in the Hot 100 this week. The Mariah Carey cover moves 4-2. Meanwhile, Mariah Carey’s “Bye Bye” drops 2-3.
Chris Brown’s “Forever” and Sandwich’s “Betamax” are both non-movers at #5 and #6 respectively, while Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up” rises to #8.
There are three new songs inside the top ten this week. “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry moves 14-7, “Thunder” by Boys Like Girls” ascends 11-9 and “Bust It Baby Pt. 2” by Plies featuring Ne-Yo is up 12-10.
Sarah Geronimo’s “A Very Special Love” ranks #11 after debuting at #20 last week, and Limkin Park’s “Leave out All the Rest” bolts 95-47 and is the fastest gaining single this week.
The chart’s top debut this week comes from Gavin Rossdale’s “Love Remains the Same” at #36.”Love Remains the Same” is the debut solo-single from Rossdale.
Also new at #74 is Miley Cyrus’ “7 Things” and new at #78 is Jonas Brother’s “Burnin’ Up.” Both single come from the upcoming albums of Miley and Jonas Brothers.
