I definitely think a midtempo/ballad is the way to go for ACT II. Easier to be on trend without dance beats, more accessible for all ages, still pop, different sound for her etc.

IMO, the ideal scenario for her would be:

1. Feature on a summer dance smash with Guetta, Zedd, whoever. Easy way to get club goers back on board.
2. Release midtempo/ballad lead single for ACT II. This will help get AC et all on board.
3. Feature on an urban collab. Ideally piano led to 'Gaga it up'. Her LTWYL, probably with Kanye or Jay. This will help neutralise her "gayness", open her back up to people.
4. Release an original/uncommon jazz/soul/blues track to promote C2C. This will help get critics back on board.
5. Release uptempo 2nd single from ACT II with Beyonce for PapaTele continuation. This will continue to help with all the above.
6. Release a true, minimal ballad for the 3rd single. A charity torch song for the world, performed and promoted in space.
