you are SOOOOOO misinformed. EDM is only a recent umbrella term that categorizes all dance music (which has been around for decades and will continue to be. don't front pretending like you're some kind of music purist

What's fading and getting old (on the charts) is "electro pop." That's the Ke$ha, Gaga stuff you're talking about. They are NOT Progressive House, Electro House, Deep House, Tech House, Electronica, etc etc... Their songs are commercial pop songs with heavy "EDM" influences and it's called "electro pop". (Not saying I don't like electro pop because I do)
And
if Lana ever went EDM I bet it would be Deep/Tech House music and it would be a creative choice, not a copout.
And you boxing Lana into this "sonic direction" is bull. She is the artist, you are the fan. She can do whatever she wants musically. If you're really a fan, you'd expect she'd do great in whatever style of music she decides to pursue.
