I agree. I prefer her powerhouse vocals to the chainsmoker vocals. The fact that one of her best vocal performances this era was acoustic BTW as Roseland is kind of embarrassing. Her live choreographed performances have not been very good - she relies way to heavily on the backing track and is out of breath way too quickly.

Indeed. I think all the touring/performing is preventing her from going all out. That or her vocals declining from overuse.
