Yeah there was a good amount of promo for it, but wasn't it only gonna be released in 2 theaters in NY and LA until they saw the fan reaction? Anyway, you seem to know more about movies than I do
Here is the info:
Quote:
War, Inc. opened on an extremely limited release in only two theaters across the United States on May 23, 2008. It grossed an estimated $36,600 in those two theaters during its opening weekend. The film went on to open in a further thirty theaters across the United States. It was second in largest per theater gross behind Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It closed on August 7, 2008 without a wide release, grossing only $580,862 domestically in fewer than thirty theaters across the United States and Canada

I still laugh at this.
The cover looking like the Greta cover.
The queen getting billed as the star with 15-20 mins of screen time.
The movie in general.
That is what I have been saying during her indie movie era, her indie movies are always with people who have no idea of what they are doing. It's not a surprise that the only one that had a decent release was the one with John Cusack at the forefront, he was going to make sure War, Inc. got noticed.
It's true, it also doesn't help that the director for FOD is an upcoming filmmaker. It's disapointing we still don't have the trailer for that, but I'm not perched it will be out when it's out.
Hopefully they add more actors to the cast of Younger. I'm all for all the four main characters being female and the show being promoted that way, but they should cast more major recurring male roles for the series. Maybe even add in a gay friend a la Stanford Blatch (Sex and the City) and they should add a moderately successful actor to play Hilary's hot love interest.
Now I can send her team my promo plan with Younger factored in. If this films in late August like I assumed, season one should wrap right before the AMA's.
It's so exciting it will be like the old days! I wonder if she will begin her tour after she finishes filming lol
That will be her only chance tbh. She can do the Jingle Ball stops in December and tour from Jan - April/May. Generally, TV Land shows begin shooting their second seasons not to long after the first and usually they are picked up for more episodes.
