But yeah The Fame has a certain quirkiness to it that isn't really genius, but it's camp. ARTPOP's lyrics aren't all amazing but they're not as bad as people make them seem. The only album of hers IMO that is rock solid writing wise is TFM.

That line is camp but not awful like Donatella. I agree that a lot of TF is camp, but it's light and fun and edgy and high brow at the same time. She really was able to magically incorporate all of these elements so flawlessly into TF and TFM. The way she carried out the music and her artistic vision was perfect.

BTW and ARTPOP are clearly lacking that cohesion. That's why hardcore fans and the GP are both losing interest. Before, she managed to captivate everybody. Now, she's losing everybody. And as much as people want to blame her image and antics and whatever else, it really comes down to the music.

Still SO disappointed in Zedd. I hope the rest of their music they made together wasn't as lazy on his end.. I think Aura is a great song but just sampling two songs and only really giving Gaga one brand new one? Watch Onion Girl be the smash we've been waiting for.

Even if G.U.Y. does become a hit, it's probably best to just end ARTPOP with the end of the currently planned tour. She can even release Act II if she wants, it's not like the GP will care anyways. In 2015 she really needs to re-invent herself and come back with the strongest material of her career. She's out of chances, and she cannot waste the space performance.

They have no control over what Gaga wants though, she composes the song and they create the sounds. If Gaga want noisy overproduced music, they'll give her that but it's honestly so different to their work cause they usually make good, calm EDM. Madeon did amazingly with Ellie's Stay Awake and Clarity/Stay The Night are good.

But tbh the songs Zedd and Madeon produced aren't bad.

I know people don't care for it but Stache has a way better hook than MJH. If it was done up right I would definitely have added It to ARTPOP
