I also had an Avril dream. I was working at some (fashion??) event getting everything ready and then a co-worker came to me and said, "Apparently Avril Lavigne is debuting her new single GYWYL here tonight." and I was like yasss slay. But then my co-workers started talking about how it was probably going to be a snoozefest and I was like y'all are wrong the song slays and they were like sure it does.
And then later in the night the event had started and Anna Wintour (ki) was there and everyone was jamming to some dance bops but then the music stopped and someone announced, "And here's Avril Lavigne with her new single, Give You What You Like." But everyone had to stop dancing because of that so they looked mildly annoyed. Then Avril walked onto stage and bless she was dressed amazing like a glam goddess BUT THEN THE SOUND TECHNICIAN STARTED PLAYING THE INSTRUMENTAL TO HUSH HUSH but the Empress like the professional she is just started singing Hush Hush instead but the audience wasn't even reacting to it and then the sound guy just cut the song and everyone started laughing and people started taking pictures of her just standing there and then she ran out and I followed her screaming HOW COULD YOU ALL DO THIS TO HER it was very dramatic
The Hello Kitty and GYWYL had a dual release, and the Hello Kitty vid served some G.U.Y. realness
