It was good, but had he not called those dudes out by name, it wouldn't have left any sort of impression on anyones radar. And I still stand by my sentiment that Nicki's influence in Kendrick is real.

Charlamagne actually replied to my tweet to him in which I explained how Nicki's fanbase actually prefers her doing rap, he replied 'then why her best selling tracks aren't rap tracks?'. I explained him that that is caused by GP buying songs like Starships, it's not like the 7 million singles sold are 7 million Barbz and how the Pink Friday era was more successful than the RR era, since pretty much the only thing really successful about that was Starships.

Made a good point I thought, unfortunately this annoying, ugly person without a life who is also on this forum was the only one of TM who came for me because he disagreed #mess

How does he not understand that pop-leaning songs have a natural edge with sales compared to hip hop tracks? That's always how the digital charts have worked.

Well yeah, Hip-Hop songs don't become huge hits because they don't have Pop radio support. And when they become hits it's because they are Pop/Rap (just like Super Bass). I don't understand why people always expect the impossible. Thankfully she'd sell more albums.

Drake and Eminem had two of the biggest first week sales last year. .... So urban fans are buying music, they're just not buying that Chief Keef/trinidad James type of music.
