You need to get into Brandy Clark and Ashley Monroe's albums. Personally I think Brandy's is better, but Ashley's is still really good. Yea, Kaceys album though>>>>

Taylor really did do so much for country music that people dot even think about. Before her country music's audience consisted mostly of middle aged men. Taylor was this young teenaged female promoted at an angle to bring teenage girls/young people to the genre. She opened the doors for Luke Bryan, FGL, Kacey Musgraves and so much more to attract a young audience. Before 2006 I'd think of a country fan as a middle aged man with a farm but now I see so many high school/college kids into country. We don't really noticed but Taylor had a huge hand in that. I remember seeing suburban teenaged girls bopping to TOMG, OS and SSN, when usually country was just for hillbillies

So true! i hated country before i knew about taylor.. she introduced me to the whole genre and made me appreciate it. She is the true modern country music ambassador

Taylor and Miranda brought back the singer/ songwriter aspect in country music. They made it cool (again) to play your own instruments and write stories with them.
